Who REALLY acted "Stupidly"

The POTUS, of course.  Our president admitted he did not know the facts of the Gates case, yet quickly defended his friend, the professor.

That is certainly the sort of judgment I wast the POTUS to display.  Apparently there must be some brilliant logic behind Obama making a fool of himself.

You would think that Gates would have been thankful that the police showed up, doing their job, since a break in had been reported.

I think we can take a pretty educated guess as to the reaction of the good professor had the police not shown.

The professor needs to apologize to officer Crowley. The president needs to apologize to officer Crowley.   And no, his "recalibrated" remaks were not and apology.

If invited to the Whitehouse, Sgt. Crowley should say "no thankyou."

The teachable moment here is we have yet another glaring example of the type of person our president considers his friends.  Gates fits in well with domestic terrorist Ayers, and racist preacher Wright.

When will the MSM wake up.

  • Valvo on Daily Caller: Putting REINS on executive power

    - Tue, 07 Sep 2010 13:50:54 +0000

Americans are demanding major changes in the way Washington operates, but while the heat is on Congress, more power than ever resides in the executive agencies. That means making government more accountable will require a redesign of the federal regulatory rulemaking process, which currently serves as a shield that allows laws to be made in an unaccountable and unchecked fashion — out of public view and insulated from voters. This must end.

Unfortunately, many actors in the policymaking process — from Congress and the president, to K Street lobbyists and trade associations — prefer that the big decisions be made by bureaucrats in the executive branch.
