Liberals Have Healthcare Backwards
Liberals have Healthcare backwards. We don't need healthier people. We need sicker people. We need fatties and smokers - cigars, pipes and weed too. We need people who love energy drinks and get all hyped up on caffeine pills and coffee and people who smother their rolls in butter and margarine. We need people to cook more in bacon grease and to super size their meals. People who like thick, juicy steaks and aren't afraid to eat tons of fish and drick lots of water out of plastic bottles.

These things are what will lead to a more affordable healthcare system in America.

Liberals, in their hubristic wisdom, tells us all we need to do is eat what they tell us, drink what they tell us, and live our lives like they tell us, and all will be right with the world and our health. We should give up meat and eat only organically grown foods. This will save the planet and our lives.

Where do we start? First, why do liberals think they know better than everyone else, how best to live a life? The arrogance tightens my stomache like the turning of the vice. How dare they.

Secondly, even if we were to live our lives exactly as they say, kneeling and praying to the anti- high fructose corn syrup god - small g on purpose. Not even sugar is as powerful as the big G - there is a problem. The greatest costs in healthcare are not in diagnosing and early detection of different diseases. The greates cost is at "End of Life." That is where is gets expensive.

If liberals want affordable health care for everyone they are going to need people to die sooner, rather than later. They need to be encouraging smoking, drinking, snacking on chips and slurping down slurpies and any other sort of misguided personal indulgances.

You see, smokers, fatties, drinkers, stoners and all other incorrigibles are needed in record nunmbers to help save healthcare in America.

Maybe we could impose a penalty tax. Let's say you must be able to prove that you have eaten at a fast food restaurant - of your choice of course - at least 10 meals per week. Save your receipts. Because if you can't prove to the IRS that you have met the 10 meals minimum, you will be subject to a 2.5% penalty.

Also, once every 5 months you MUST sit down with a anti-nutritionist and death coach - no need for life coaches any more - to map your death journey. This must be done so you do not live long enough to be a burden to the healthcare industry.

And because we care, we will grandfather in your healthy lifestyle. Of course, once our public care is in place, you will not be able to continue in your healthy lifestyle because eventually you will grow old and burden the system.

You see, we, at least have the courtesy to die earlier and more often, thus not being a burden and adding to the cost of "End of Life" care.

Do you truly care and are you willing to do your part?

I am. Pass the chips, please!

  • Valvo on Daily Caller: Putting REINS on executive power

    - Tue, 07 Sep 2010 13:50:54 +0000

Americans are demanding major changes in the way Washington operates, but while the heat is on Congress, more power than ever resides in the executive agencies. That means making government more accountable will require a redesign of the federal regulatory rulemaking process, which currently serves as a shield that allows laws to be made in an unaccountable and unchecked fashion — out of public view and insulated from voters. This must end.

Unfortunately, many actors in the policymaking process — from Congress and the president, to K Street lobbyists and trade associations — prefer that the big decisions be made by bureaucrats in the executive branch.
